What browser storage means

Cookies are small values a website asks your browser to send with later requests. Local storage lets a site keep information in your browser without sending it with every request. Both can be used to keep a signed-in session working.

What High 5 Surf uses

• Authentication cookies: session tokens and verification state used by Convex Auth and Next.js to sign you in, refresh your session, and protect private pages. These cookies are first-party and are normally session cookies.
• Authentication local storage: sign-in tokens used by the browser application to maintain your Convex session. Signing out removes the active authentication state.
• Security storage: Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie when a configured bot, rate-limit, or challenge feature needs it.

Private booking-management and waiver tokens are carried in the URL fragment after the #. They are not analytics cookies and are not placed in query strings. Treat those links like passwords.

Analytics and advertising

High 5 Surf does not currently load Google Analytics, advertising tags, or social-media tracking pixels. If we add non-essential analytics in the future, we will update this policy and introduce an appropriate consent control before those tools load.

Your controls

You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking the essential storage described above may prevent sign-in, lessons, account settings, and other protected features from working. Because the current site does not use non-essential cookies, there is no separate advertising or analytics preference to manage.
